About me
Currently I hold a post at Edinburgh Napier University which is funded by Macmillan Cancer Support . In the university I am involved in both pre-registration and post-registration teaching and am the module leader for the Therapeutic Options in Malignant Haematology Module. In the Edinburgh Cancer Centre I am the module leader for the collaborative module Administration of Chemotherapy. I have a keen interest in academic and in-service education at all levels and a specific interest in how technology can enhance teaching and learning in Cancer Nursing. Currently we are working on a podcasting project for 1st year student nurses on oncology placement, head and neck development programme, and further module development in online cancer education with the Edinburgh Cancer Centre. Clinically, I have an interest in haematology, cancer education (specifically in health promotion and survivorship), cancer genetics and palliative care.
