Embedding e-Assessment: Challenges and Drivers
We are very pleased to welcome Dr David Walker, Senior Learning Technologist from the University of Dundee as our Guest Expert for the third in our series of TEL-Connect webinars. David will be exploring some of the challenges and drivers to embedding e-assessment in our institutions and we hope that you're able to join us for what we expect to be a lively and interactive discussion.

Dr David Walker is Senior Learning Technologist in the University of Dundee’s Library & Learning Centre with lead responsibility for supporting technology enhanced assessment practice across the institution.
David is the founder and organiser of eAssessment Scotland - the UK's largest annual conference relating to e-assessment and serves on the board of the UK e-Assessment Association; the Editorial Board for the International Journal of e-Assessment; and the programme committee of the International Computer Assisted Assessment (CAA) Conference . In 2010 he received the Scottish e-Assessment Award for facilitating adoption of e-assessment through institutional policy.
He has considerable experience in the fields of e-learning and assessment and has taught across a broad number of courses including the University of Dundee’s Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education. Recent presentations and publications have focussed on the development of policy in the area of technology enhanced learning (TEL) and assessment; e-learning staff education; inclusive assessment practice; and understanding the student experience of assessment.
